TRIVIA PARTY
Trivia Party is a team-based trivia game for Snapchat with hyper-relevant questions made by the community. Trivia Party marks Mojiworks’ second smash hit on Snap after Ready Chef Go!
In Trivia Party, friends play together to beat over 60 other teams and prove they are the smartest people on Snapchat! Each round takes between 20 and 30 seconds, but players will need to win six consecutive rounds to make it to the finale and take home the Trivia Crown. The game has over 10 different topics players can compete in from Science and Movies to K-Pop. All questions in Trivia Party are submitted by the community, making the content hyper-relevant to the audience. In-game boosts, constant content updates, and seasonal events keep things fresh and evergreen.
As the Design Lead on Trivia Party, my work includes improving the gameplay flow, proposing new features, enhancing the UX, balancing the progression systems, working on monetisation, and planning new game modes. Trivia Party gave me the opportunity to further hone my design skillset, while also developing my leadership, collaboration, and mentorship skills. While trying to understand our players better, I’ve been able to get hands-on experience with both user research and data analysis, including designing AB Tests. It’s exceptionally rewarding that millions of people out there are loving our little trivia game.
